K-tips are a commitment — they are single use and cannot be moved up like sew-in wefts. When your natural hair grows out, the extensions are removed and reinstalled fresh. This is what makes them the most natural looking option available.
The K-Tip Process
Every K-tip installation begins with a consultation where we discuss your goals for length and fullness. Your hair is color matched in person, your extensions are ordered through Bellamy Hair Extensions, and once your hair arrives your installation appointment is booked. Each pack takes approximately 45 minutes to install.
When it's time for removal, K-tip extensions are taken down at a rate of $100 per hour. Because K-tips are single use, they cannot be moved up — removal and fresh reinstallation is required when your natural hair grows out.
K-Tip Extension Pricing
Installation is $170 per pack. Most clients need 4 packs for volume and subtle length ($680) or 5 to 6 packs for maximum length and full glam ($850–$1,020). When it's time to come out, removal is $100 per hour and typically takes 1 to 2 hours. Hair is purchased separately through Bellamy Hair Extensions.
Sew-In Weft Extensions
Sew-in weft extensions add volume and length by attaching rows of hair close to the scalp. Most clients need two rows for a full, natural result. Unlike K-tips, sew-in wefts can be moved up every 4 to 8 weeks as your natural hair grows — making them a flexible, lower maintenance option.
